HOW DO WE PLAY?

10 Teams.
80 Players.
One Weekend.

The Hillbilly Open is built around a team scramble format designed to keep the game competitive, inclusive and fun.

10 teams of 8 players compete across the same field. Each team splits into four two-person scrambles. The best three scores count towards the final standings.

  • The Hillbilly Open is open to ambitious amateurs, industry insiders, creatives, entrepreneurs and anyone who shares our love for the game. Whether you arrive with a full team or on your own, you’re welcome to join the field.

  • There is no official handicap limit. However, you should have a valid handicap or be able to demonstrate sufficient playing ability to compete.

  • Yes. You can either register with a full team or apply individually. Solo players will be matched with a team of like-minded legends.

  • The field is limited to 80 players. Once the spots are gone, they’re gone.

  • The Hillbilly Open is played in teams of 8 players.

    Each team is split into four 2-person scrambles. The worst pairing score is discarded, while the remaining three scores count towards the final team result.

  • Golfpark Bregenzerwald in Riefensberg, Vorarlberg, Austria.

  • No. Accommodation is not included in the ticket price. We provide recommendations for nearby hotels, guesthouses and apartments.

  • The easiest airports are Zurich (ZRH), Memmingen (FMM) and Munich (MUC).

    The closest train stations are Bregenz and Dornbirn.
